Privacy Policy

How ShipMetrics handles your data, and the data your connected accounts send us.

Last updated 19 September 2026

Who we are

ShipMetrics is operated by Dmytro Virych, a sole trader established in Ukraine, acting as the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at 63202, Ukraine, or by email at hello@shipmetrics.app.

What we collect

Your account. The email address you sign up with, and — if you join the waitlist — the email address you give us there.

Data from the accounts you connect. When you connect a billing provider, an attribution provider or an ad account, we read data about your business: subscription transactions, attributed installs, and advertising spend. This includes identifiers your attribution provider assigns to devices, which we use solely to match a subscription to the install that produced it.

Usage of this website. We use a privacy-focused analytics provider to count visits and understand which pages are read. It does not use cookies for cross-site tracking and does not build advertising profiles.

We do not ask for, and do not want, your customers’ names, email addresses, payment details or contact information.

Why we use it

To provide the product: joining spend, installs and revenue into the payback and return figures you asked us to calculate. To contact you about your account, billing, or a material change to the service. To keep the service secure and to diagnose faults.

Our lawful basis is the performance of our contract with you for providing and billing the service, and our legitimate interest in keeping it secure and working. Where we rely on consent — such as marketing email — you can withdraw it at any time.

What we never do

We never sell your data, and we never share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use your data, or your customers’ data, to train machine-learning models. We never write to your advertising accounts: the access we request is read-only, and we could not change a budget, a bid or a price even if asked to.

Who we share it with

Only with the providers needed to run the service: our hosting and database providers, our payment processor, our email provider, and our analytics provider. Each processes data on our instructions under a written agreement. We also disclose data where the law requires it.

Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Creem handles your payment details directly under its own privacy policy; we never see your full card number.

How long we keep it

Connected-account data is retained while your account is active. If you disconnect a source or close your account, we delete the data we pulled from it within 30 days, except where we must keep records to meet a legal or tax obligation. Waitlist email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Email hello@shipmetrics.app and we will respond within 30 days.

We are established in Ukraine and handle personal data under Ukrainian data protection law; if you are in Ukraine, you may complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights. Where we offer the service to customers in the UK or the EEA, the UK GDPR and the GDPR also apply to that processing, and you may complain to your local supervisory authority.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place, such as standard contractual clauses.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will email you before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
